Paper is made from the pulp of trees (primarily). The pulp of trees (and sometimes things like cotton or hemp) are chooped up and mixed with liquid and “glue”. It is then “strained” and formed into “paper”. Homemade paper can be made by using already made paper and cutting it into small pieces, mixing it with water and something that is like glue (I think flour can be used) and then it is poured onto a “drying board” on a large “screen” and formed into a sheet. I’m sure their are more complex processes used, and more sophisticated processes in the industry. Primarily paper is made from “wood pulp” or other “pulp” which is usually a fiber material. Recycled paper is esentially cut up paper that is reformed.
