English help!?

Thanks if you can help me. I had like 10 of these and these 2 I can’t figure out.

Locate the clause in each sentence, tell whether it’s a subject, direct object, indirect object, predicate nominative, object of preposition, or an appositive.

1. Mrs. Clark, who is my neighbor, won first prize.

2. My mom is who I trust.

1.

The clauses are:

Mrs Clark won first prize (Main Clause)

who is my neighbor (Adjective Clause qualifying Mrs Clark).

The types you have listed apply to noun clauses, but there isn’t one in this sentence.

2.

My mom is who I trust.

My mom is (Main Clause)

who I trust (Predicative Nominative, because with the verb ‘be’ it refers back to the subject ‘mom’).

This sentence looks ill-formed to me. It should really be written:

My mom is the one whom I trust.

Then you don’t have a noun clause at all.

My mom is the one (Main Clause)

whom I trust (Adjective Clause qualifiying ‘one’).

Ok, in the first sentence the clause is “who is my neighbor.” In the second sentence, it’s “who I trust.” But I don’t know whether they are subject, object, etc.
