My challenge, something that you’re faced in life and overcame? It’s up to your own experiences, but these are some petty topics to get you thinking:

How about a fear? Like fear of starting a new school? Growing out of being scared of the boogeyman?

Anxiety about moving into a new neighbourhood? Asking the boss for a raise? Resolving a serious issue/dispute?

Learning to cope with the loss of something/someone? Battled an illness? Learning to get by with a broken arm/leg?

For each part, write a short story about 50 words. Make sure that from part 1,2,3,4…..to 15 they are all in sequence of events. Make sure that each part is connected and linked to the next. Use the dictionary to help you with the difficult spelling words. Work with a close and thrust worthy friend to assist you. If you are still not sure, you can do your research at the library or consult the teacher for help.

Failing that, take a look at a cancer charity website. They’ll have stories about people overcoming cancer and such, use that to base your ideas on.

The examiner isn’t looking for facts or the truth, but to see how well you right.
