Emergency!Please help with these 2 graphs!?

ok i need your help one last time! if anyone could please help me i would be very appreciative(begs). This is home school and the last to questions before finishing and i am stuck! none of my friends of family understand either.

please show work and give points.

1. 3x+2y=8

6x+4y=16

2.2x+y=5

3x-y=10

please please please help! if you refuse to help me you could at least tell me how to put it in the correct form(y=) and it will be easier. whomever helps most gets best aswer and 5 stars!

1.)

3x+2y=8

2y=-3x+8

y=-3/2x+4

4y=-6x+16

y=-3/2x+4

Both equations give you the same line. Easiest way to draw the line is to start out with your basic x,y coorindates. set x as zero in the equation: y=-3/2(0) +4; y=4. So your first point will be (0,4) (this is all you really need because you know the slop already, but to make it simple, calculate another point on the graph).

Next, set y as zero: 0=-3/2x+4; 3/2x=4; x=8/3. So your second point is (8/3,0)

Plot both points on the graph and connect the dots, and that should be your line.

Now do the same thing for the second question, except in number 2, the 2 equations are different and thus you will have 2 lines instead of one. Just work on one equation at a time using the same method as number 1.

3x+2y=8

6x+4y=16

2y=8-3x

y=(8-3x)/2

just put this at y-plase in 6x+4y=16

finally u’ll get x=0 y=4

2x+y=5

3x-y=10

y=5-2x <--- put this in 3x-y=10 3x-(5-2x)=10 3x-5+2x=10 5x=10+5 5x=15 x=3 y=5-2*3 y=-1
