Man’s ego has overtaken that which is the never ending not, thus leading to self gratification and self adulation of those that are limited by that which they can justify and reinforce as existence through the limits of the five readily available senses.

People have become used to thinking logically; if they are going to believe something they want evidence for it. Plus, superstitions are associated with eccentric old ladies with bulging eyes. Nobody really wants to be considered an eccentric old lady with bulging eyes.
