However, I have gone to church for almost fifteen years, and for the past five years my life has been hard, with some really rough times. But just three years ago, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I finally found Jesus.
Perhaps the reason why so many people don’t go to church and cry out to Jesus is that they haven’t experienced much difficulty in their lives. It seems when people experience sickness, feel pain, or have hard times and trials, that many turn to Jesus Christ and kneel down before Him just as I did.
Mothers and fathers, don’t you want your children to come to you? When they a have a cut or bruise, don’t you want them to cry out to you for your help? And don’t you want them to share their joy and happiness with you? Is there any wrong that you would not forgive?
We are all Gods children and would He do anything less for us? Pray everyday, talk to God, and talk to Jesus. Jesus gave his life for us. Thank Him. Jesus gave us two commands; love your God above all else and love your neighbor as you love yourself. What a better world it would be if these two commands were followed.
Indeed, it is sad to know that so many people come to God and our Lord only when they feel there is nowhere else to turn.
But, we can feel joy anytime that even one of Gods children gives his life to God and acccepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
God is good all the time and all the time, God is good.
Amen
