does anyone know how to write a reaction paper for a movie?
i really need to pass this tomorrow and my teacher didn’t even tell us the format, what exactly we’re supposed to write and all that junk. it was Raise your Voice

I don’t know the movie, but this might help. Use your standard essay format. Do your intro paragraph, follow with one or two summation paragraphs, one or two reaction paragraphs, and an ending paragraph. The summary needs to show the idea, purpose, and conflict of the movie. This will prove that you not only watched the film, but that you paid attention. Your reaction need to be personal! State what you felt, and why you felt it. Did it make you think of a time or experience in your life? How would you have handled the situation, and why. What would have made you enjoy the film better.
If you use quotes from the film, teachers like it. Make it personal, even if you hated it! If you did hate it, state it, don’t pretend to like it. If you are able to make your teacher look at the film from a different angle-you get the grade!
Good luck, and don’t forget to spell check, use your thesaurus too! Try not to use the same descriptive word too close together!
