Does anyone know any good allusions to any flood epic?
These should be current and I need as many as possible and can be from any media type TV, Movies, Art, music… it really doesn’t matter. It’s for a project I am working on and I have searched for hours but I have not found very much.

Evan Almighty, the whole movie is an allusion to Noah’s Ark and the flood. His nickname is “New York’s Noah”
This might be stretching it a little, but maybe the Day After Tomorrow movie. There is a detructive flood (as well as other disasters) that wipes out a large amount of people.

The most recent allusion to the Flood epic is the film “Evan Almighty”. I haven’t seen it myself, but I understand Evan (Steve Carrell) is asked by God (Morgan Freeman) to build an ark, just like Noah.
Bill Cosby did a hilarious comic monologue about Noah’s Ark back in the 1960s. His neighbors were curious about why he was building a big boat. His answer was, “How long can you tread water?” And Bill Cosby’s Noah wasn’t very clear about God’s instructions, either. “What’s a cubit?” (It’s the length from the tip of the hand to the elbow, I believe.)
