does a prepositional phrase always start with the preposition?

I used my usual online source, Encarta, and from there I chose “HyperGrammar,” which took me to a new site I hadn’t seen before, a link to the University of Ottawa, Canada. (So sorry, I don’t know the ‘link line’ to get into either place… I checked back at the U of O but saw nothing helpful for links. Explore?)
HyperGrammar seemed to verify my first statement, but to know more about prepositions (and the type of phrases that follow them), you may want to follow that up somehow.
Or look at Wikipedia and see what they say!
Good Luck. Most people wouldn’t touch a preposition question with a ten-foot pole.
(Now look…when I submit this you’ll have 20 answers!)
It is possible to use a preposition at the end of a sentence. But a prepositional phrase is that part that begins with one.
