Do you put a comma before the word “by” or after the word?

For example, here is a sentence…

~We’ll probably hike for a few days, and then we’ll relax by fishing at the local lake.

No comma needed there.

It’s fine the way it is. There should not be a comma before or after by. The only comma is before the and because it splits up the two independent sentences.

u don’t need a comma, but if u were to put one in, it would be before the by… relax, by fishing
