Division is very simple

2/3 divided by 12

Invert (i.e. turn over) the denominator fraction and multiply the fractions

Multiply the numerators of the fractions

Multiply the denominators of the fractions

Place the product of the numerators over the product of the denominators

Simplify the Fraction

So 2/3 multiply by 1/12

answer is 1/18

When dividing fractions you invert both fractions and multipy so

-2/3 / 12 = -3/2 X 1/12 = -3/24 Simplfying the fraction it equals -1/8

dividing fractions you have to invert. 2/3 x 12/1, = 2/3 invert 1/12 and multiply 2/3 x 1/12=2/36 reduced is 1/18

As has been said, invert the second fraction & multiply.

(-2/3) / (12/1) = (-2/3)(1/12) = (-1/3)(1/6) = – 1/18.

Make 12 into a fraction: 12/1 then flip it upside down: 1/12 and multiply.

when you divide a fraction by another fraction, you invert and multiply.

Dividing by a whole number like 12 is the same as dividing by the fraction 12/1 so invert it (flip it over with the numerator on bottom) and then multiply the new numerators and then the new denominators and you will have your answer.

flip the divisor. 12/1 to 1/12

then multiply

-2/3 x 1/12= -2/36 = -1/18

dont forget . -1 x -1 = +1

-1/18

you have to multiply -2/3 by 1/12 (the reciprocal of 12)

you get -2/36

Divide each by 2 to reduce and you get -1/18
