Determine the average rate of change for f(x) = 2x^2 – 3x between x=1 and x=3?

plug in 1 into the equation and then do the entire equation again using 3. the average is if u take both numbers and *** then together and divide it by 2.
so it would be f(1)=2(1)^2-3(1), which equals 2-3=-1
then f(3) =2(3)^2 -3(3) = 18-9=9
then talk the average of it, -1+9= 8, then divide it by 2, so u get 4! so thats the average rate of change
