This significance behind my organization colors is privileged information. When and if the time comes, you will be taught this info. This is the main reason why you haven’t receive a straight-forward answer. None of my sorors will tell you this info. If you want to research any other history of my organization, then please read In Search of Sisterhood, or the Divine Nine. These are excellent books and will give you all the information that you need to know.

Good luck

It’s not priviledged information at all. Crimson and cream are the colors the 22 founders wore as they set out to form DST. Delta Sigma Theta’s colors are crimson and cream, which represent courage and purity. The flower, the purple and gold variety of the African violet, is a symbol of the sorority’s strong bond with Omega Psi Phi fraternity and symbolizes modesty. Don’t be an *** when someone seeks to be educated on something they know nothing about.
