Try a framework story. Old lady (she’s about 68 in earth years) on alpha centauri tells the story about how she met her husband, a nymphomaniacal squidman. Start with her in her living room, taking care of the latest set of 100 babies. (I’ll explain the 100 babies thing later.)

18 year old college girl is on her way to the grocery store. Sees something weird by the side of the road. Pulls over to investigate….

Boy (er…squid by the side of the road) meets girl in car. Squid likes girl. Girl doesn’t like squid b/c he’s a weird nymphomainac. Squid attempts to make girl like him by taking her to three or four different dimensions, all with his idea of great spots to hook up (remember, squid is nymphomaniacal), all of which are reeealy sleazy/weird/disturbing. Squid tries to show affection. Girl slaps him. Squid thinks she’s trying to show affection (apparently they literally hit on each other on his planet). Immediately, squid decides that girl is his soulmate and forces her to come meet his parents. They decide that the two should get married. Before she knows what’s happened, girl finds herself in some weird interdimensional temple trying to tell them she doesn’t want to marry the squid, and really she hates him. But they think she’s playing hard to get, and the two get married anyway, against girl’s wishes.

Flash forward fifty earth years….Girl has aged only ten years (time is slower where squid is from), but has a family with squid. Because squid have so many young at once, she has about 10,000 weird hybrid kids (which is considered a tiny family by the squid people). Her kids are really annoying. Everyone on the planet where she lives makes fun of her b/c she can’t give her husband a real family. Girl is an unhappy 68 year old trapped in a 28 year old’s body. And her husband is still, 50 years later, a nymphomaniac. End with something like “”Oh @#$%, here he comes. Well, can’t talk anymore, gotta go put on my sexy lingerie and get into the ink bath.”” (I guess they would have an ink bath instead of a shower cause squid make ink….)
