Choose an author from any period and demostarte how his/her work exemplifies the period.?
Someone please help me with this question asap! I have no idea what to start with!!

Do you have any authors that you’re interested in? Pick one. For instance, my wife likes Jane Austin. She could write an essay on how her novels deal with the time – Pride and Prejudice, Emma, etc – they all have the same basic theme; a “smart” woman falling in love, blah blah. You could relate that to the changing views towards women in the world at that time.

Well, just begin by finding a book that has a setting similar to the time it was wrote. Maybe like a Vietnam book, or a hippy book, maybe something from the civil war or somrthing along those lines.. Then you could say stuff like well, there were riots in the book much like that time of history etc.. It seems like you would want books based on real events, but still non-fictional. Good luck.
