can you help me out with math?
2). 2/9 and 4/5…multiply and write result in simplest form
Favorite Answer
or theres these to make it easier
9 and 5
3 and 15
45 and 1
8/45 i think that is the simplest form
1, 3, 5, 9, 15 & 45
(2/9) (4/5)
Multiplying fractions is easy. First, multiply the numerators (2 x 4) and that will be the numerator of the product. Then, multiply the denominators, (9 X 5) and that will be the denominator of the product. So, 2 times 4 is 8, and 9 times 5 is 45, so our product will be 8/45.
8/45 is in its simplest form already, so that is the final answer to your second question.
so the factors (prime numbers & other numbers) that go into 45 are: 1 3 5 9
multiplying
(2/9) x (4/5) = (2×4)/(9×5) = 8/45
8 does not go into 45 so that cannot be simplified
If I was adding
(2/9) + (4/5) .
first I expand the divisors (divide by) into common values
2/9 = (2×5)/(9×5) = 10/45
4/5 = (4×9)/(5×9) = 36/45
(10+36 = 46)/45 = 1 and 1/45
2. Product is 8/45, which is already as simple as you can get.
