Can this be solved for t?: X=Vit+(1/2)(A)(T^2)?

I need help solving this for t so that I can do another problem.If it can be solved what is t?

It can only be solved for t using the quadratic formula … if it were me I would plug the other values in first, the use the quad formula (or factor if possible) …

re-arrange …

(1/2)(A)(T^2) + (Vi)(t) – X = 0

t = (-Vi +/- sqrt[ (Vi)^2 – 4(1/2)(A)(-X)]) / [(2)(1/2)(A)]
