The full quotation from the New Testament says, Matthew 6:28-29 “28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

It means, don’t worry, be happy! God will take care of your needs. Just ask Him. It’s a great chapter. Take a look at the rest of it.

it’s from the parable of the birds of heaven … Matthew 6:24-33 or Luke 12: 20-32 … it basically says that you shouldn’t worry about things because God will take care of you and then a bunch of examples are listed including the lilies of the field that God has used to cloth the field so don’t you believe him that he will clothe you? that’s what it’s referencing I’d have to see it in context to tell you more… literary allusions don’t you love ’em

i did no longer understand if i presumed him until eventually he informed me he’d anticipate me and did. when I informed him that I enjoyed him six months after telling me, the wait grew to become into somewhat worth it. BTW: We have been ultimate acquaintances previously we began relationship. i think that grew to become into what made the version, yet i did no longer have confidence him whilst he first informed me. It grew to become into his strikes that made me have confidence him, after the actuality.

They do nothing to make themselves beautiful. They depend on God to give them food and water and they grow. They have faith that God will provide these things for them.
