Ethnic integration has always existed in our community . I was raised in the 50 and 60 and never experienced the ugliness of racial discrimination nor have i ever been part of it .. We all learned to be children together , believe in Our God together and respect ones lives as an American together . In my community there were equal blacks and whites . Sunday afternoons wee the best . after church sitting at your friends house and smelling all the different types of food being cook , spaghetti sauces , chickens , halupkis, grits , chitllins (yuk) but you get the idea . I am 53 now and that was the best time of my life . I to this day have my same friends . black white Italian , German ancestry , and they will all tell you the same answer , WE ARE ALL AMERICANS!!!!!!!
