God and the king? God is the king. And being rich is just a perk of being human.

It was a statement by one of Cortes’ soldiers. They were in Central America to conquer the countries, and also to get as much gold as possible.

the people who said that probably meant that they came to new land for religious reasons, the king told them to go, and they also probably thought they could find gold or something like that. Does this Help!?!?!?
