Numbers divisible by 5 must end in either 5 or 0.

Numbers divisible by 2 must end in either 2, 4, 6, 8 or 0.

So, your search is already narrowed down to numbers between 200 and 300 that end in 0 (i.e., 200, 210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260, 270, 280, 290 and 300).

Numbers divisible by 3 have digits in them that add up to a number divisible by 3 (e.g., 27 is 2 + 7 = 9, which is divisible by 3). Of the numbers listed above, only 210, 240, 270 and 300 satisfy this criterion.

So, your answer is any of 210, 240, 270 and 300.

both 2 and 5 could deal with the 10 , 20, 30 etc or lets just say number with 0 at the end… 2 and 3 could only deal with numbers that like 6,12,24,48 and so on it is like binary and 3 and five could only deal with number like 15,30,60 and so on like how 3 is relative to 2 so to make these connection multiply all these number together 2 * 3 * 5 which will be 30 and take the multiple of all these number till u get into the 100 to 200 range like 30 + 30 = 60, 60 +60=120, 120 + 120 = 240 , 240 + 240 = 480, so that is greater than 300 so ur answer should be 240… got it

Well, if you multiply 2 by 3 by 5 by any other number the result will be divisible by 2, 3 and 5.

(2)(3)(5) = 30

If 30 is multiplied by a value and the result is between 200 and 300 you have your answer (hint … try 9)

2, 3, and 5 are relatively prime — they don’t have *any* common factors. This means that the problem simplifies to finding a number divisible by 2*3*5.

Is that enough to get you going?

210 is divisible by all of them evenly with no decimals. The idiots above and below me are no help! 🙂
