How can I personify a room. (Your room, my room)?
I need to write a brief paragraph or poem like this example:
The gym shoe breathed a heart-felt sigh of relief as the smelly foot was lifted out of it. The shoe was proud of being as well-worn as it was, but felt that is deserved a little more respect than to be asphyxiated so mercilessly. It had spent hours in the gym, supporting its owner through games of Dodge ball, taking that one more step out on the track, waking up early for basketball practice. Would it be too much to ask for a little foot powder in exchange???

The ancient room creaked, heavy with its burden of age-old secrets, tired of bearing witness to countless mysteries unfolding within its walls. Purple paint, once worn proudly like a velvet coat, peeled as it met the floor, as if recoiling from an unknown foe.
Etc. etc. It’s the best I can come up with at quarter past 11.
