Can someone help me check my answers to Linear Equations?
Q2.Compute the slopes of the line
L1 (2,3);(1,0) = answer – m=3
L2 (1,2);(3,4) – answer m=1
L3 (-2,3); (2,1) – answer m = -1/2
Find an equation of the line
Q1 slope = 3 ; containing the point (-3,4)
answer y=3x +13
Q2 slope = -3 ; y-intercept = (0,-2)
answer y=-3x -2
Q3 slope = -4 ; x-intercept = (2,0)
answer y= -4x +6
Q4 containing the points (-3,4) and (2,5)
answer y-y1 = m(x-x1)
5-4 = m(2-(-3))
1 = m(2+3)
1=m(5)
m=1/5
Please teach if I made a mistake, I just want to be correct.
Appreciate everyone’s help.

Q3 should start with y-0=-4(x-2)
y=-4x+8
Q4 has the slope right, but you didn’t go back to the formula to find the equation: y-4=(1/5)(x-(-3)) and solve for whatever form your teacher wants.
Q1.) m=3, point =(-3,4). (y-4)=3(x-3) => y-4=3x-9 => y=3x-9+4 => y=3x-5
The only thing you did wrong is that you added positive 9 and 4, instead of adding negative 9 and 4.
Q3.) m=-4; point = (2,0). (y- 0)= -4(x-2) => y= -4(x) + -4(-2) => y=-4x+8
I think you multiplied the negatives (of -4 and -2), then added the numbers, so you got +6 instead of -8.
Hope that helps.
