I guess you could have a numerical expression like 14/4 which could either simplify to an improper fraction 7/2, a mixed number 3 1/2, or a decimal 3.5.

This indicates an account of all that is involved in the expression, which is nothing. The negative of zero is zero, it is its own simplest form.
