Can some one tell me what a peer-reviewed article is?

Im taking a class where we have to find to papers/articles, with one being peer-reviewed and the other being non-peer reviewed.

My teacher didnt tell us what distinguishes the two, except for the fact the peer-reviewed article is longer.

I have found one article, I think its peer-reviewed. Could someone verifiy this for me? Below is a link to the article

Peer reviewed means that if a doctor writes an article, it is reviewed by other doctors. So I would think that the article you found would qualify.

Non-peer reviewed would be an article written by a single person and not reviewed by anyone or just an editor.
