Calling all Biology Majors. I need you Help.?
Hi. I am just entering High School and am starting to understand the meaning of “Working Hard for my Grades”. My Biology teacher wants us to be creative and find something wrong with the environment and write about it. One idea that one girl in my class said was, “We should consider banning Christmas because we are chopping down large amounts of trees that we need to live”. My teacher was very impressed with that, and I wanted to do something better. If you have any ideas, can you share them with me. Thanks alot.

How about imposing a distance-from-employment tax?
That would force people who choose to live in suburbs or any place far away from their daily job to pay an extra tax (perhaps per mile if they use their own motored vehicle). This tax could be used to research cleaner fuels and the tax would force people to think about moving closer to their jobs so as not to create so much pollution through daily long drives and time giving off fumes in traffic jams.
