3/10 prob the first student picked is female

2/9 prob that the second student is female

3/10 * 2/9 =1/15 = 0.066666666….. that both are female.

Number of ways in which a female can be selected = 3C2= 3

Total number of ways people can be chosen = 10C2 = 45

probability = 3/45 = 1/15

Welcome to Colorful Colorado
3/10 = 30% chance that the first will be a female.

2/9 = 22.2% chance that the second will be female.

Let me know if I got that right!

i think the first one is right but if you choose a female the first time then your chances will change from 30% female to 22.22% chance of female choosing.
