anyone can help me to solve this inequalities?
Twp pf the sides of a triangles are 12cm and 7cm. Third side is the length of x, and x is an integer. What’s the inequality that must be satisfied by x?

For this you need to use the triangle inequality, which goes like this:
if a, b, and c are the sides of a triangle (when b>c and a is unknown), then
(b-c) < a < (b+c) so now we just substitute for a, b, and c. Since b has to be more than c, than b must be 12. That means that c must be 7. Since a is unknown, it is equal to x. So you end up with: (12-7) < x < (12+7) 5 < x < 19 And there's the answer! Hope I helped. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
