write a sort of fantasy sort of thing..

you in the story being the sheperd of an odd “herd” as it may be..

diff “animals”…

the theme would be how even though each animal(person) is different come together..

dont pick the usual things.. rabbit.. dog.. cat.. sheep/goat.. select animals that the students probably dont hear about much in stories..

couple that with some colorful illustrations.. should work out fine for you =)

Al;ittle unclear if you want names of books or ideas for writing a book, so here is something for both. Usbourne books are great for all ages. They have things to find and do as well as some great stories. Another book my children love is Debi Glioris bedtime Stories. It has eight or nine traditional tales but with some very amusing twists. If it’s ideas you are after, mine seeme to like ones they can relate to. Keep language simple and use phrases they understand. Ideas to use could be a trip to the farm to see where milk comes from or for older ones to the museum to find out about past times. Or how about some cookery books but in story form?

You can be a scout leader leading a group of students through a trail in the woods. Talk about the adventures you come upon. Sound neat! Good luck!
