A farmer would probably be pleased, at first, about the Dam as it eliminates the risk of uncontrolled flooding destroying his fields. Irrigation also allows for more land to be used for farming. The dam was intended to supply large amounts of cheap electricity, which could be used by the farmer at home to enrich his life with various devices that run on electricity. However, as time has gone on since the dam was built, the soil in Egypt has been getting increasingly salinated, making it harder to grow crops. Nor has the dam produced quite enough electricity for the country.

Conservationists would also probably take a fairly dim view of the dam as it has caused climate change in the region, has contributed to the salinization of the soil, is contributing to the deterioration of Egyptian monuments, and resulted in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people.

well i know the farmer wouldnt be so happy, since, without the floods the farmer’s soil isnt as fertile as it used to be.

The conservationist would be glad i suppose that there was no more flooding.
