Will you make more money with a college education?College (or at least a trade that gives you marketable skills) is very important; I come from a very educated family so trade schools were not an option. That does not mean however, that I think they are “bad.” It’s just not what my status oriented family does. I think that in some trades, you make very good money and certainly more than a liberal arts education.

7Is which college you attend important, or are all colleges about the same? I am not convinced of that. Many of my friends attended an extremely prestigious University here in the midwest (and got in based on the strength of their high school grades). Once they got to college, they realized how “hard” it was and they weren’t as successful. I was not as successful in high school, but attended a “good school.”: I would say I got MUCH more out of my education because I put a lot more INTO my education.
