Algebra problem dealing with graphing word problems.?

It needs to be graphed…

Here is the problem…

Gina has a pile of 50 dimes and nickels worth $4.30. How many coins of each type does she have?

Please explain to me how you figured it out and give me good refrences if you can.

the maximum amount of dimes she can have is 43. for every dime you take away, you add 2 nickels. so you have to find an amount that when you subtract it, double that number added to the answer will add to 50. so 43-7=36 and 7×2=14 so 36+14=50. she has 36 dimes and 14 nickels. your graph can show the original 43 dimes and 0 nickels, stepping down one dime at a time and up 2 nickels until you get to 36 and 14.
