Draw an isosceles triangle. You know the legs are the same length (this is what isosceles means) and are integers. The base is half the length of a leg. The perimeter (leg+leg+base) is between 6 and 16 units long.

base=leg/2

perimeter=leg+leg+leg/2=(2.5)leg

leg must be between 6/2.5=2.4 and 16/2.5=6.4

What integers are between 2.4 and 6.4?
