Use PEMDAS and never forget it, you will need it all throughout Algebra 1.

Parenthesis

Exponents

Multiplication

Division

Addition

Subtraction

First you have to multiply the 2 common terms (3x and 4x).

Then, divide 32 by 78, this will be a fraction or decimal depending on how you write it.

You can’t combine the two terms left, so that is your final answer.

Good luck, and good job for asking for help. <3333

you you distribute 3x to the number in the parentheses:

3x(4z)= 12xz. so then you do 12xz -32/ 78. then simplify your numbers. divide by two, to start easy, so you have 12xz/2, -32/2 and 78/ 2. that gives you 6xz- 16/39.

Sure!!! *u can use / for division!

3x (4x) – 32 / 78

12x – 32 / 78

12x – 0.41

What i did was i multiplied 3x*4x which is 12x….

then i divided 78 into -32 which is -0.41 (rounded)

and so 12x – 0.41 is your answer.

*Dont count on this to be the correct answer- im not perfect.
