hi.
for my english class we are supposed to define, give an example of, and draw a literary term.
the term i got was ad hominem. can anyone give me ideas as to how i can go about illustrating this?

Google images. Find one that you like and print it out and trace it. Or find one that you can draw. Just an idea.

“Ad hominem” is Latin for “to the man”. It’s a style of argument in which, rather than responding to the argument, you attack the arguer. Something along the lines of “everyone who doesn’t believe people cause global warming are just stupid rich Republicans.”
For further examples, see anything ever written by Al Gore. I should think a picture of him would do it.
Oh, all right – how about a picture of one lawyer physically attacking another one in court?
