Start by finding how much the phone bill is.

39$ fee plus $ 0.30 for each minute.

to find how much the additional minutes are multiply $0.30 by the minutes.

125 (additional min.)

x $.0.30

___________

000

375 x

__________

37.50

Now you would add $37.50 and $39 together.

$37.50

+ $39.00

_________

$76.50

The bill is $76.50. Now divide it between the two sisters.

$76.50 / 2 = $38.25

$38.25 is your answer!

Well if you are splitting the bill evenly, you first need to split $39 in half, since that is the solid fee. You already have to pay $19.50 every month. Next, you need to multiply $.30*125 to find out how much you need to pay for your total additional minutes. That comes to $37.50.

The total amount of money you have to pay on that phone bill would be $19.50+37.50, which is $57.00

$57 is the answer!

times 125 by .3 and u get 37.50$ + the regular 39$ is 76.50$

divide by two cuz theres two of u and each pays 38.25$

?????
39.00/2= 19.50

$0.30*125 minutes=37.50

37.50+19.50=57.00

are they just your additional minutes or yours and your sisters?

then it would be different
