(27x^-3)^ -1/3?

The -1/3 is a power that is a fraction. This is in the Radical exponents section, and could you please show your work so I can understand how you went through the process?

Note:

Example

10^2 = 100; 10^ (-2) = 1/100;

100^(1/2) = 10; 100^(-1/2) = 1/10.

Problem:

Now assuming you mean ((27*(x^-3))^(-1/3)

= [(27^(-1/3)]*[(x^-3)^(-1/3)]

=[1/3]*[(1/x^3)^(-1/3)]

=[1/3]*[x] 0.333x

Ans: 0.333x

distribute power(-1/3) to 27 and x

so u get

27^(-1/3)x^(1)…………….{x^-3*(-1/3)=1}

…..27=3^3

3^3(-1/3)x

3^(-1)x

if u have a negative power,just put it down to become positive power.
