When my children got their booster shots for Kindergarten, we were told they would need another booster when they went into 7th grade. If you are homeschooling, I don’t think you would necessarily have to stick to those guidelines though.

NO! you most certainly do not HAVE to get shots. Vaccinations are something that you do not have to do: it just seems like that because everyone just goes along with it without questioning authority. Every state has vaccination requirements, and thankfully, they all have waivers as well. Some reasons to not vaccinate might be for health, religious, or philosophical. Not all states have all three waivers available, but every state has at least one waiver. No one can force you into submitting to getting vaccinated (except the military, I believe they can dose you with whatever they want). I would do a lot of research before submitting to getting vaccinated if I were you. I have, and the results are sobering. My children have not been, nor will they be vaccinated. Can you say, “Autism?”

You’re shots have to be up to date.

That means, for example, a Tetnus booster every 5 years.

You have to have all your shots. These days that’s a lot.

Meases, mumps, chicken pox, polio, tetnus. They might be requring Small pox again. Diptheria.

Usualy you finish these by grade 3.

But you need boosters for some preidocially.

Since your parents are the authority in your homeschool, you should ask them if they want you to have the vaccinations recommended for this age. Like another answerer said, no one can force people to vaccinate. It is a personal decision.

sometimes you do if your doctor just got a new one. im going into eighth grasde and i had to get 2 shots. like the other person said ask your mom or pediatrician.
