They are one of the few online schools using Elluminate. That is how I became familiar with them. I was trying to find other schools that utilized Elluminate for instructional content besides us. We use Elluminate as the base for our classes in our homeschool co-op with a course management system (Moodle) as a support. TRECA works generally the same except that the course managements system (Angel) is primary and Elluminate is support and they are publicly funded with hired teachers while we are volunteer-based with homeschool parents as the teachers. I hope to see many more online options with a live, online classrooms as time goes by. I love the online classroom environment.
