what does this sentence mean “Describe the way a man contrasts attention from women.”?
this is for my english assign. but i just cant understand the question. does it say to describe how a man reacts to attention from women?

The last part is important.
“Contrast” means to examine the differences between two things, or to just be aware of those differences.
So if someone said “Describe the way a man contrasts attention from women and from other men.” to me, I would talk about how a man feels differently about attention from women, versus attention from other men.
“Contrast” means roughly the same thing as “compare,” but it has more emphasis on describing how two things are different.
