If you find it difficult, be gentle with yourself. Most of the students have been learning in this system for five years already, so they are used to it. You’ll settle in if you pay attention in class and do your homework each day.

I really hope that you will enjoy being in school with others and making lots of new friends. Just take it easy — meet people, but take your time in making “best friends” so that you get to know them well.

If you find yourself having problems, socially or academically, stop in and see your school counselor for a chat. They are there to help out.

BTW — good for you for thinking ahead and asking this question. That alone tells me you are going to do just fine!
