I’m in trouble at school!?

I am in big trouble. I started poking my teacher’s mini liberty bell. He got so ticked, that he made me bring home a dictionary. I’m also happy, because I beat my old record of torment!!! But now I have to write a big collum of on the liberty bell. Any way I can get out of it?

I agree with stargate_525. Although history was my least favorite academic subject in school, I have since learned to appreciate its worth. And if writing an extra 500-1000 word report on the Liberty Bell is your idea of “big trouble,” you would definitely want to stay away from the really serious stuff. 🙂 And, if you tackle the assignment in the right spirit, you just might find it fun. Or aren’t you curious how the bell got cracked?

You got yourself in trouble now you get to pay the consequence. I would apologize as you turn in the report but you deserve what you ask for. Do the report and quit harassing the teachers and may be they can do their jobs and actually teach. By the way do you really think you’ll find a way out of punish work by posting in the home school section? After all most of the people answering questions here are parents and teachers! Enjoy the report and I hope you learn some interesting things about the liberty bell!

That is completely aweful. The school has no right to have her pray in class. That is against the whole freedom of religion thing. (Unless it is a christian based private school, but I can’t imagine why you would send your daughter there if she’s pagan. If that is the case she would be better off somewhere else. The education is not better if she is being tormented and bullied) I don’t think that is the case, but, it does sound to me like that place is crawling with fundamentalist christians who are filled with an irrational hatred of difference. If it were me I would find a better school (any decent school that is more understanding is better, I don’t care about its educational ratings, or its funding). You can fight this and fight this, and maybe even win and stop them from trying to make her pray, and get the bullies off he back, but that is doubtful. Even if you win, the people who call her a satanist will never stop disliking her. They are members of prehaps the most stubborn religious group in the world. She is different, for some reason there are people who take offense to that. Right now she is in a hostile environment, and I think it would be best for her if she moved. I know that sounds like giving up, but I don’t think that you could win this one. You can talk to the principal, super intendant, stuff similar to this has made it to the supreme court! But it would take something more than any of that to take the hate out of these peoples hearts. Move her away to a more friendly place. It is the easiest and most effective solution.

It’s called the law of cause and effect.

Just like if you drop a book from a roof, it’s going to fall to the ground, if you behave badly, you’re going to have a negative consequence. If you can’t learn that, then you will never make it far in life. You sow what you reap; if you sow torment, you will get torment back, like writing about the Liberty Bell.

There’s no escaping the laws of the universe.

Stop poking the Liberty Bell. To get out of trouble you have to stay out of trouble.

Why get out of it? The liberty bell has a very long, very accessible history. It’ll be a breeze.

Yeah…

Have your parent call in and have them yell at him.

That might change his mind =]

…You might seem spoiled though…=]
