This site does require a $20.00 yearly fee to have full use of all their printable materials, but it is well worth it.

You can check them out for free, but it is a lot of curriculum in one place.

Have you considered online learning?

This is our first year of homeschooling. We are using http://www.time4learning.com for my sons 1rst grade homeschool curriculum. I love it and he loves it, so it’s a great thing. It covers language arts, math, science, and social studies.

Since you are looking for third grade, you would want to check out this link;

http://www.time4learning.com/education/third_grade.shtml

They have free third grade lessons etc here;

http://www.time4learning.com/start/index.htm

I really can’t say enough great things about the program. It’s $19.95 a month. There is a parents area with progress reports etc. The lessons are multi-media and very interactive, so your child is going to learn. You can login yourself and make sure the lessons are getting finished. The progress reports can be documentation of the education he is getting.

You can call the school you will be attending and ask them for a supply list. Also you may be able to find a supply list at Wal-Mart for your school district, though it may only be for elementary school, I’m not sure. Good luck. I was home schooled from 8th to 12th grade and was glad not to have to go to high school. College was so much better.
