K12’s curriculum is deep and broad. It’s challenging, just so you know. Many students have been able to use the middle school courses as high school credit. My son is doing Physical Science now and it’s deeper than the Physics and Chemistry I had in high school. Some of the content I didn’t even have in college.
COVA has a very large enrollment throughout the state. If you live in a rural area (sounds like it from your other recent question), you may have to travel a bit to connect with others, but I would imagine you’d be able to find a lot of other COVA students to connect with.
I’m jealous that you live in CO 😉 We’ve pretty much visited every part of the state at least once. If we ever get a chance to move there, my son will enroll in COVA. I helped the two K12 virtual programs in Kansas get started and COVA was the schools’ “mentor”. They did a wonderful job! 🙂
You can IM or e-mail me and I will answer any questions you have.
I found that my daughter excelled at this curriculum. They have a forum with problems and questions on the curriculum. It is less expensive than most curriculum.
sorry to be of not much assistance…
