Attend charter school want to substitute physics course with different science subject..?

I’m having difficulties in physics and considering dropping the class for stress sake.

I take all my courses at school and home. Physics has been consuming way too much time and is affecting my ability to complete assignments in other subjects. What kind of science for sophomores students can someone in my situation take?

this would be independent study (with parental and school-e.s guidance.)

Something very non-math based. I already took biology last year.

Help?

this high school btw..

You need to talk to the charter school about the courses available through them. They will be able to guide you. And other than a general science course, I don’t know that you’ll find a course less math-based than biology. Chem usually involves a lot of math, too. Although not quite as much or as difficult as physics.

You could always take a different approach to this, too: set your time so that you only have so much time to work on each subject, not letting physics take the forefront. Then whatever you haven’t finished in physics, finish it as “homework”. The key to doing well in physics IS the strong math skills. Have you done Algebra 2 yet? “Tutor yourself” and work on those math skills to be able to do well in physics. Also, if it’s the rewriting of the equations that’s difficult for you, I’ve got an easy method that can help.

YOu want to get into college you have to take math based Physics or Chemistry and neither is easy But you usually don’t take it until 12th grade.
