Will FAFSA help me afford college textbooks?

Grant money can be used for anything related to education…tuition, textbooks, computer, etc.
California’s Board of Governors Waiver (BOGW) Program waives enrollment fees for qualified residents of California for the entire school year. I have no idea if you can qualify for both. Ask the Financial Aid Office at your school. If you apply for both, I suppose you may have a better chance of receiving at least one of them. But I am not from California so you will need to ask at your college. Good luck!
youre right. the money they’ve already lent you is the money you purchase the books with. often you have to purchase from you refund which in some cases could come back to you 5-6 weeks in the semester. so if you dont have a book for 5-6 weeks it can be tough. i still suggest using financial aid because the interest is low and payments are deferred until graduation. you won’t find that anywhere else.
