Schools use their COA (Cost of Attendance) in conjunction with your EFC (Expected Family Contribution) to determine what types of financial aid you could receive.

If you have a valid EFC of less than 4111 then you could be receiving a Pell Grant (anywhere from $4310 for a 0EFC to $400 for a 4110EFC based on full time enrollment). For example – if you have a 0EFC and the tuition/fees portion of your COA is $2000 for the year, then you would receive $2310 for the year ($1155 per semester if you go full time both semesters).

You should talk to a financial aid officer at your school for more information/guidance. Good luck!

most schools list there COA pretty generously. You will most likely get a refund from your school for the excess fin aid you recieved after tuition fees and books are paid for. But most likely you are gonna need to take out a loan. You will most likely qualify for an unsubsidized stafford loan. But if want to pay that much for rent youre gonna either need a roomate, a private loan in addition to the stafford loan, or a PT job.

I simply gave up my 2 BR apt so I didnt have to work during college. so now me and my son are headed to my dad’s. I just could see myself taking out a 10-12k loan each year for rent (735 apt in chicago). by the time i graduate I’d be paying almost 30k on loans….I’ll pass on that one thank you.

Or they don’t believe you’re able to do it. tutor them incorrect get provides and an entire experience. Blow the shortcoming of religion perfect out of the water. merely tell them whilst extreme college is over your gonna pass to college and in the event that they ask the place say you merely have not desperate yet.
