The school catalog will list important financial dates such as last day to withdraw. There should also be a table showing how percentages regarding financial aid change as you get closer to the final withdrawal date.

One thing to consider, to continue to be eligible you must continue progressing. This means completing a certain number of credit hours each school year. If you must drop, it is a good idea to speak to your advisor but the catalog should have the information you are looking for.

As long as you don’t drop below 12 credit hours ( the minimum for full time (maximum) financial aid, you will be fine. However, you want to check the drop policy at your college before you do. Your will probably be charged a portion of the the tuition cost for dropping the class. If this is a class that you will eventually need to take, it might be worth it to struggle through it now rather that happening to pay for it twice.

Normally financial aid works off of number of units you are taking. Mine, for example, isnt effected as long as I have 12 or more units, so if I had 18 I could safely drop one and not worry.

No, if that replaced into the case; then extra of you would be actual at the back of you. they are in a position to’t positioned you in detention center for dropping a type. whether, you would be in charge for the pay the very own loan returned. charge Plans will initiate interior the subsequent six months or now and returned later. many human beings are not required to pay till graduation, till you’re a graduate student.

Read the fine print in the documents that you signed. It will be in there. If you drop the class, and you are still above the minimum number of credits required, you are fine. If you drop below the minimum number of credits required, well, just don’t do it.

Don’t depend on any answers you get here for something as important as this. Talk to your school’s financial aid office.

Without detailed information, you should really check with your financial aid office. There are several variables unknown, so again check with them..
