I went into the miltary because my grades wern’t good enough for scholarships and I coouldn’t afford to pay for it either. First you need to develop good study habbits now because if you go to college you will want to do your best and not have to retake classes. The military is a great place. I had fun and learned alot. However when I got out all the people my age were already 4 years ahead of me in the job market to include pay, experience and benefits like vacation. Although I liked the military I would not say anything bad about it I would suggest you go to college. There are student loans (something no one told me about when I was in High School) you can get and don’t have to pay them back until after you graduate. They also give you money to live off of so you don’t have to have a full time job. A part time job will suffice. Stay in school bro, you will benefit better from it. Trust me.

Joining the army to get a paid education is not the best reason to join. Are you willing to perform all the things required by the Army to get this education? Plus, as far as I know you will have to be in the Army for at least 4 years before you can check out…

In my opinion it would be much easier to improve your grades and look into scholarships and financial aid. There are some schools and scholarships out there that don’t require you to have a 4.0 or even a 3.0. Financial aid is probably the easiest to get. All you have to do is fill out the form!

There are lots of options out there to get your schooling paid for. If you are serious about going to college, just do a little research and be creative. Consult a guidance counselor to put you on the right track.

Well first think of why you don’t have good grades. Do this now so that if you do get into college you don’t end up dropping out. Once you figure out the reason then if you really want your education you can start improving it. That way you can sign up for a scholoarship and then you don’t have to join the army.

When you’re evaluationg yourself make sure that you don’t go crazy blaming other people because a lot of people do that and then they loose the whole point. So make sure you can connect whatever mistakes you’re making to yourself so that you can improve yourself. However, there are cases when it’s not really your fault but you just have to watch it.

Hope you can find some of this useful and good luck with your education 😀

There ar ea few things you can do. If you’re in the U.S fill out a fafsa See if you qualify for help. It doesn’t matter what grades you got. All they care about is how much money you make. They do care how much your parents make if you’re living with them. If you are not living with them you might have to fight them a little but make sure you don’t list them.

Next Try to get a job that will pay for your schooling. A Lot of companies will pay for schooling if it has to do with your job. So get a low level job and go to school at night/weekend. I know most machine shops will do this after 3-6months. You can start with no experience at a lot of them. If you like this type of work you could go to school for it(machinist) or even engineering.

Very last would be the army. They will give you money but you also have to give your life to them for 4+ years. Coast guard or reserves might be a better bet. It’s very likely that you will go to iraq if you go to army or reserves.

Nope, you nevertheless could practice and be prevalent right into a school in keeping with benefit 2. yet, a splash generally used secret, colleges admissions places of work, do use the flexibility to pay on your college, while granting admission. So having earned Gi bill reward, would be a plus, while applyng for admission.

Judging by your punctuation, you definately need an education.

I didn’t have good grades in high school either. I enlisted right after high school. I have a four year degree now. Even in the military, you’ll need a degree to get to the higher ranks.

You better have other reasons to join besides paying “for my education.”
