what are some great scholarship sites and are real and not scam sites?

First, I recommend applying with the FAFA because it will help you tap into need based financial aid from the federal government along with the college itself. The award is based on your parents savings and parental income along with your savings and your income. Depending on the Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), it will qualify you for the Pell Grant, federal work study program on campus, and student loans. You should apply in January or early February to get the optimal amount.
Second, high school seniors can locate a list of state grants and local scholarships at the high school guidance office.
Third, the local public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on a website.
Fourth, major corporations offer scholarships. I recommend searching their official website for more information and the application itself.
Fifth, search Google.com and Yahoo.com for college scholarships and grants offered from your state.
Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites that I list below. I personally belong to them, and I listed several well known credible sources, too.
Good luck!
